This Fairtrade rooibos is grown in the harsh conditions of South Africa, where the plant absorbs the desert's character, meaning a tough, strong yet delicate flavour profile. The vanilla adds just the right amount of softness without any sweetness, so this tea works great without sugar or honey.
And because rooibos is completely caffeine-free, you can enjoy it worry-free morning, afternoon, and evening – even by candlelight with a book or as a soothing evening drink before bed.

Rooibos has a long tradition in African culture and has been considered a very healthy drink. Due to its high antioxidant content, it is said to boost metabolism and prevent aging. The roots of the Rooibos bush (Asphatus linearis) reach a depth of over two meters, from where it also accumulates a significant amount of important minerals such as iron and magnesium.
