The taste is soft and full-bodied, and the cornflower adds just the right amount of edge, without overpowering the fresh aroma of the bergamot. Since black tea contains a bit of caffeine, this might not be the best evening tea, but it works perfectly in the morning or after a sweet treat.
Bergamot is a citrus tree that grows mainly in North Africa and Italy. Bergamot oil, which is the main purpose of growing the fruit, is obtained specifically by pressing the rind of the bergamot fruit.
