Strong Indian unflavored black tea
Assam Tippy Golden grows in the Brahmaputra River Valley region of northern India. The tea is made from smaller leaves and buds, which are tastier and more valuable than the larger, opened leaves. During processing, they are oxidized to a golden brown and rolled. The tea is given the quality classification TGFOP, or Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe,
The finished drink is dark and aromatic. It tastes rich, richly grainy, malty and sweet. The aftertaste has a noticeable vanilla creaminess and feels very soft in the mouth. Assam Tippy Golden works best as a morning and afternoon treat on its own or with a splash of milk.
