If you're craving a boost like coffee, but without the stomach churning, here's the answer: Energy tea. Completely calorie-free and packed with natural caffeine and antioxidants, this tea is a refreshing, body-loving and effective energising option.
Maultaan Energytee is refreshing and slightly tangy, thanks to the hibiscus. It works perfectly as a savior on Monday mornings or when you need extra energy for the day.
The main source of caffeine is Yerba Mate, which is obtained from the yerba tree in South America. There are also pieces of guarana and ginger powder. Guarana provides a gentle sweetness and extra energy, while ginger supports the immune system and keeps the joints supple.
This lovely burgundy drink also contains muira puama, which comes straight from the Brazilian rainforest. Muira puama is a powder made from the bark of a tree that has been traditionally used as a natural aid for treating erectile dysfunction, for example. Although there is not yet enough scientific evidence to prove its effectiveness, there is a lot of interesting information on the subject online.
