Green Rooibos is significantly different from normal rooibos in terms of taste and appearance. Normal red Rooibos is oxidized, which turns its color reddish. After oxidation, the taste is stronger and the drink is dark brown-red. Green Rooibos is again unoxidized rooibos, which is why it is green in color. Softly floral on the palate, from a completely different world compared to normal rooibos.
Green Rooibos is dried immediately after harvesting, which is why it retains its green color and antioxidants better than red Rooibos, which is left to oxidize for a long time after harvesting.
The rosehip contained in the herbal tea mixture contains plenty of vitamins E and C. Also, since it's an evening tea, we've added real chamomile to make it easier to fall asleep!
