Strong Indian unflavored black tea
Assam Tippy Golden grows in northern India, in the Brahmaputra river valley region. Smaller leaves and buds are selected for tea, which are tastier and more valuable than larger, opened leaves. During processing, they are oxidized to golden brown and rolled up.
The finished drink is dark and aromatic. It tastes rich, grainy, malty and sweet. There is a noticeable vanilla creaminess in the aftertaste and it feels very soft in the mouth. Assam Tippy Golden works best as a morning and afternoon treat on its own or with a splash of milk.
Indian black tea from the province of Assam.
