Classic Russian-style unflavored black tea

Georgian tea began to be produced in the 20th century, when the Soviet Union needed large quantities of tea for the people. In the past, tea was imported from India, but because of the British monopoly, tea started to be produced in the Soviet Union. Georgia was selected as the tea producing country, which already had extensive tea plantations and a rich culture of tea cultivation.

Georgian tea production was consumed almost entirely in the Soviet Union and its cultivation collapsed at the same time as the Soviet Union. This tea is a mixture of different tea qualities, which together perfectly imitate the taste of the original Georgian tea.

Georgian tea is an improved version of the nostalgic drink. The tea crop is harvested by hand, just like in the old days. At its best, Georgian Tea tastes strong and fruity. Large high-quality tea leaves smell like peachy malt.
